Club Activity Booth for International Students Entering the University of Tsukuba in October 2019

An event to introduce club activities for international students who are entering the University of Tsukuba in October was held at the University Hall on September 30. This event was organized by the Division of Student Welfare, Department of Student Affairs and the Global Commons with the cooperation of 15 organizations such as Japanese language classes by volunteers as well as student club groups.

About 170 people, new students who have just finished the entrance ceremony and admitted exchange students for the fall semester visited the event. The representatives of each group explained about their activities and the new international students who participated listened to their explanations intently.

The Global Commons intends to continue the efforts to meet the students' demands and to provide opportunities to promote exchange between Japanese and international students.
